1. Sauté the Aromatics
Heat the cooking oil in a pan. Sauté the onion, garlic, and ginger until fragrant and slightly browned.
2. Add the Meat
Add the minced beef. Stir and break up the meat to avoid clumps. Cook until the beef changes color and is slightly dry.
3. Season the Dish
Add the blended chili paste, oyster sauce, sweet soy sauce, black pepper, sugar, and salt. Mix well and cook until the oil separates from the paste.
4. Add Fresh Ingredients
Add the tomato and red chili. Stir briefly until slightly softened.
5. Ready to Serve
Sprinkle the sliced spring onion and chopped celery leaves before turning off the heat. Serve hot with steamed rice or bread.
